      <image:title>Chris Dockins</image:title>
<image:caption>Chris Dockins is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (Level II) with a deep commitment to healing that honors both the spiritual and neurobiological dimensions of human experience. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. Chris brings over two decades of experience walking alongside individuals, couples, adolescents, and children through seasons of suffering, growth, and transformation. His work is especially informed by his time at the Denton County Child Advocacy Center, where he developed a particular heart for survivors of sexual abuse trauma. His clinical approach is shaped by the conviction that lasting change occurs when both the heart and the nervous system are engaged with truth, safety, and compassion. Rooted in a biblical worldview, Chris believes that counseling must begin with the heart—because that is where God begins (Psalm 51:17; 1 Samuel 16:7). Scripture teaches that our beliefs, desires, and actions flow from the heart (Luke 6:45; Romans 10:10), and that healing involves not only understanding our story but aligning it with God’s redemptive purposes. Chris sees counseling as a form of discipleship, helping clients navigate the complexities of life while remaining anchored in their identity and calling as Christ’s ambassadors (Matthew 28:19–20). At the same time, Chris integrates principles from Interpersonal Neurobiology to support whole-person healing. He recognizes that trauma and relational wounds shape the brain and body in ways that influence emotional regulation, attachment, and resilience. By attending to both spiritual truth and neurobiological safety, Chris helps clients rewire patterns of fear, shame, and disconnection—creating space for renewed trust, integration, and joy. Whether mentoring emerging counselors, guiding families through transitions, or crafting trauma-informed policies, Chris brings a rare blend of theological depth, clinical insight, and relational wisdom. His work reflects a deep belief: that healing is possible, and that every person is created with dignity, purpose, and the capacity to glorify God—even in the midst of suffering.</image:caption>

Andrew has been working with adolescents, adults and families since 2008. His clinical experience includes preengagement (couples) counseling, premarital counseling, marriage counseling, family counseling, and working with individuals diagnosed with depression, anxiety, anger, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorders, co-parenting, self-harm behaviors, addictions, ADHD, identity confusion, trauma, grief and loss, guilt, shame, loneliness, suicidal thoughts and personality disorders. Andrew served as an Adolescent Therapist at the Excel Center of Lewisville from 2015 to 2018. From 2008 to 2015, Andrew served as an adult Mental Health Case Manager and Hospital Liaison for Denton County MHMR. He and his wife Missy are covenant members of The Village Church Denton and are blessed to have two beautiful daughters and a son Andrew's goal for counseling is to provide levity, depth and heart focused counsel that is rooted in the wisdom and understanding of scripture with the hope of reconciling people back to God and their neighbor. He believes people's only hope is through the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has a conviction to invite others to become more like Christ and aligning with God's heart and rhythm for life. His counsel relies on God's grace through the Holy Spirit to allow people to see their depravity and for their enormous need for a savior. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. <image:title>Deborah Filizetti</image:title>
<image:caption>Deborah Filizetti, LCSW, has over 20 years of experience as a licensed therapist. She has a passion for helping others using a biblically grounded, Christ- centered approach while adhering to clinically sound best practices. She received a Masters of Social Work from George Williams Collage at Aurora University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northern Illinois University. She is also trained in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Deborah is experienced in working with adolescents and adults on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, loss and grief, women’s issues, pre-marital and marital counseling, and family conflict. Matthew 22:36-40 shows us that a loving relationship with God is the most important thing in life, and the second most important thing is our relationships with others. We were made for relationship, and God uses relationships to work in our lives. He can also use the therapeutic relationship to foster spiritual, emotional, and relational healing, growth, and encouragement as we invite him into the counseling process. Deborah’s faith in Christ and her knowledge of biblical application are the plumbline of her approach to counseling. Her professional experience as well as her life experience as a wife, mother, a parent who has lost a child, and the parent of an adopted child also inform her approach to counseling and give her a unique understanding of issues related to loss and adoption.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Denton, Texas, with over 35 years of experience providing Christian counseling for individuals, couples, and families. I offer a safe, compassionate space for people seeking help with anxiety, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, addiction, grief, and life transitions. My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in relationship—with God, with ourselves, and with others. I especially enjoy helping clients who feel stuck in painful patterns move toward greater clarity, emotional connection, and lasting change. In addition to individual counseling, I offer marriage counseling and relationship therapy using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that helps couples rebuild trust and deepen connection. I am the author of Becoming One: Rediscovering the Heart of Marriage, a Christian marriage study based on Genesis 2:24 and the story of connection woven throughout Scripture. My husband and I also lead a marriage ministry in Denton, Texas. My clinical training includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed therapy, ADHD treatment, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I am a member of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Outside the office, I enjoy gardening, crocheting, and spending time with friends of all ages.</image:caption>

Adam believes that God’s sufficient Word and power have “granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence” (2 Peter 1:3). Through the counseling relationship, God has given a means of grace and wisdom for the transforming of His people into His image “from one degree of glory to another” (2 Corinthians 3:18), and for the common good of all (Galatians 6:10). Adam serves as an elder at North Point Church in Denton where he and his wife worship as members and attend with their two children. ***Currently accepting most Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna plans in-network*** (Note: Subject to verification and individual plan benefits)</image:caption>

She is also a certified Biblical counselor and has continued training by being an advocate through two counseling intensives with Twelve Stones. She has been married to her husband, Ty, for 24 years and she loves being Mom to their 4 children! Carri has had a love for people and truly knowing people for as long as she can remember. She has been told throughout her life that she has the gift of listening and the gift of counsel. Hearing people’s stories and encouraging them in their struggles and victories has been a natural overflow. Although she has known the Lord as her Savior most of her life, over the last 10 years, He has allowed deep levels of personal suffering and trials that have moved her to seek His Word in a new way, to find her footing in His Word and to know where to rest her Hope. Additionally, the more she met with people, the more pressing it became for her to know what God’s Word says as fully authoritative and true and how it is applied to the unique places we find ourselves in life. This led her to receive certification as a Biblical Counselor through The Association of Biblical Counselors. It brings her joy to see lives transformed and hearts comforted and healed by the truths of His Word.</image:caption>
