Lisa Stephenson, M.Ed., LPCS earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University and her Master’s degree in Counseling from University of North Texas. Her experience includes working with children in play therapy, teenagers, young adults, women and marital counseling. Lisa enjoys working with families and it is her desire to see them strengthened by becoming Christ-centered. She also has a passion working with couples dealing with infertility and pregnancy loss as she has experienced both.
Prior to working in private practice, Lisa worked for over ten years in the public school system as a special education teacher, general education teacher, and school counselor. She has experience in working with special needs children, teens and their families. She helped implement a special needs ministry at her church.
Lisa and her husband have been married for over 25 years and have four children.
